What VoxVent does
VoxVent connects event production, interpreters and the audience. Participants open the public listening link in their smartphone browser, choose a language and listen through headphones. No dedicated app is required on their phone.
You can work with remote interpreters or distribute translated audio from an existing on-site interpretation system through an audio interface. VoxVent handles connections and distribution; interpretation comes from your interpreters or the audio source you connect.
What the free plan includes
- 1 concurrent production console.
- 2 configurable languages.
- 1 interpreter station.
- 5 simultaneous web listeners.
- 60 cumulative minutes per day with the production console connected.
The five places are for web listeners. The production console and interpreter station are counted separately. This plan is designed for learning the system, preparing a demonstration or running a technical test with a small group.
How the free hour works
Time is shared across events on the same account and adds up throughout the day. A 20-minute test in the morning leaves 40 minutes for the afternoon.
Time counts while the production console remains connected, including periods of silence. Disconnecting stops the counter; reconnecting does not reset time already used. Transmission stops when the 60-minute allowance is exhausted.
The allowance resets at midnight in the Europe/Rome time zone. The five-listener limit is fixed: the free plan does not allow paid listener overages.
Your first test, step by step
- Open the VoxVent portal and prepare your event with your two languages.
- Download the Mac or Windows production console and configure your audio source. Connect an interpreter station or test distribution of audio that has already been interpreted.
- Share the public listening link, including via QR code, with up to five people.
- Ask them to open it on their phones, choose a language and listen through headphones. Test the devices and network you intend to use at the event.
You need a suitable internet connection and the required audio sources. Interpreters, hardware and connectivity are not included.
When your event grows
If you need more production consoles, additional languages or a larger audience, configure a paid licence based on capacity and validity period. Paid licences do not have the free plan’s daily time limit. You can pay by card or bank transfer. Card orders activate after payment confirmation; bank transfer orders activate once receipt is verified.
VoxVent is under testing. For a live event, contact us to agree availability and capacity and arrange a test of your actual setup.
