VoxVent licences: free daily plan and event capacity
Start with 60 free minutes per day, 5 web listeners and 2 languages. Configure paid licences by rooms, languages, audience and validity.
The free daily plan
One production room, two configurable languages, one interpreter station and five simultaneous web listeners. The account shares 60 minutes of connected production per calendar day (Europe/Rome). Stopping or restarting keeps the time already used. The server enforces the limit and closes production at the end of the allowance. No listener overage is permitted on the free plan.
Paid licences for your event
Choose concurrent rooms, languages, web listeners and a validity period. Every room includes two languages. Licences active at the same time share their purchased capacity across the same account. A one-day second room can therefore share listeners from an annual licence. Each allocation ends at its own expiry. No hourly allowance applies during paid validity; a rehearsal day is included.
Web listeners and extra capacity
Optional for paid licences. When disabled, new listeners cannot join once the shared account capacity is full. When enabled, extra places cost €0.90 + VAT per day (€0.75 +20%), based on the daily concurrent peak across all rooms. At midnight Europe/Rome, a new day starts; connected extra listeners count towards that day. Extra listeners require a card and authorisation for automatic charges in the portal, with invoice creation. Automatic extra charges are not available with bank transfers. At least one purchased listener place is required. Enabling this on one active licence applies to the shared account capacity. The free plan has a hard limit of five listeners.
Partner testing and activation
Partner testing is assigned by the administrator with agreed capacity and expiry, without an hourly allowance. Administrators may also assign configured licences free of charge or at an agreed price. No hourly allowance. Pay by card through Stripe or by bank transfer. Card purchases activate after payment confirmation; bank transfers activate after receipt is verified. For weekly, fortnightly, monthly and annual licences, you can authorise automatic card renewal and disable it from your account.

Practical questions: from your licence to your first test
What do two included languages mean?
Every production room includes two configurable languages, such as Italian and English, in both directions. Three rooms running at the same time need three production licences. The original stage feed is an audio source, not an additional language to purchase.
Are listeners registered people or active connections?
They are simultaneous web listening places shared across rooms on the same account. With 100 places, up to 100 connections can listen at once; leaving frees a place. Physical outputs to a mixing console and interpreter stations do not use these places.
How does the free hour work?
You have 60 cumulative minutes of connected production per day, including silence. Disconnecting and reconnecting does not reset the count. The allowance resets at midnight Europe/Rome. Five simultaneous listeners are included; a sixth cannot join until a place is free.
How do I run my first test?
Create an account, create an event and add a room. Configure the two languages and download VoxVent Studio from the portal. Connect your audio inputs, start production and open the public listening link on a second device with headphones. Check each language before sharing the link or QR code with your audience.
Does the audience need an app?
No. Listeners open the public link or QR code in their browser, select a language and press Play. They need an Internet connection and headphones. Resuming after a pause returns to live audio without replaying missed content. Before your event, also test screen locking and network changes on the phones you will use.
Can I use interpreters already working on site?
Yes. Feed the original audio and translated channels into the production app through an audio interface, then distribute them to web listeners. Check each input route and any autofloor already supplied by the existing interpretation system.
When will I receive my licence and invoice?
At checkout, confirm your billing details and choose card or bank transfer. For bank transfers, use the order reference: once receipt is verified, the licence activates and the invoice PDF is emailed to you. Card purchases follow payment confirmation. Select billing review for special cases; customers outside Italy should contact us before paying.
Does Mac or Windows block the first launch?
The apps are in development. The portal Download page provides requirements and instructions for security notices on each operating system. Download only from official VoxVent links and test the setup before your event.
Does the reserve need another licence?
No. MAIN and backup in the same room share the licence, without doubling time or audience capacity. A second independent room needs its own capacity. Start MAIN transmitting before connecting the reserve. The new builds support backup; full real-world handover testing is still in progress. Read the backup guide →
